The Role:
The General Manager of Base Austin has the mindset of a CEO. Each city GM will integrate the proven playbook from Miami HQ, into your respective region’s ethos and culture. You will be fully responsible to get from 0 to 1 launching a new club. Operational excellence is mission critical. You will work directly with the founding team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Base Austin’s long-term vision, goals, and strategic plans.
- Collaborate with the founding team to align operations with the overall mission.
- Oversee day-to-day club operations, ensuring seamless coordination of all Austin departments.
- Monitor and enhance operational efficiency, quality, and member satisfaction.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, closely monitoring expenses and revenue.
- Implement financial strategies to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
- Regularly engage with members to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback.
- Provide strong leadership to recruit, build, and establish a local team.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success department to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Ensure the Austin club operates in compliance with all Base HQ standards.
- Foster relationships with members, event partners, and the broader Austin community to enhance the club's reputation and presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
